There are officers, there are chapters, there are committees, all doing most laudable work. But the Church School teacher, the choir member, and the woman in the pew (or not in the pew) are also Churchwomen. Therefore, the purpose of the Epis copal Churchwomen of St. Philip's is not to be found in terms of its organization, but in the mission of the Church.
