The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Grand Prairie opened in January 1994. In 2006 they went through some changes and became the Pregnancy Resource Center of Grand Prairie. In 2018 the Center celebrates its 25th year of service to the Grand Prairie Community. The heart of the ministry is the individuals that help to support it. Those most often thought of are the staff and client coordinators who, on a daily basis, give their loving support to the individuals who enter through the doors for assistance. There are many more, the Board of Directors, the PALs (Partners Advocating Life), and those behind the scenes whose efforts and donations are so important to the ministry.
