About 84 percent of the national wheat allotment is enrolled in the 1965 program compared with 76 percent in the 1964 program. Farmers with approximately -million-allotment acres of the -million acres enrolled in the program elected to exceed their allotment. The intended voluntary diversion is from the -million-allotment acres not exceeding allotments.
