Excerpt from Weekly Station Reports of the Office of Dry Land Agriculture Investigations: June, 1929The well bid and well equipment housing were completed this week. The winter wheat is making a fine growth, in places in the field the wheat is waist high. The Spring barleys are beginning to head, they are only about one foot tall. On June 1 we had one-half inch rain, the first rain of any value since early February. The wheat crop in this Indian reservation section will be good. The wheat yields in the other districts of Eastern Oregon and Washington will be very low unless good soaking rains are received within the next week or ten days.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
