Excerpt from Weekly Station Reports of the Office of Dry Land Agriculture Investigations: June, 1929The well bid and well equipment housing were completed this week. The winter wheat is making a fine growth, in places in the field the wheat is waist high. The Spring barleys are beginning to head, they are only about one foot tall. On June 1 we had one-half inch rain, the first rain of any value since early February. The wheat crop in this Indian reservation section will be good.
