Towards the south ¿ows the Zondag's River, towards the east several small streams, which at last unite to form the great Fish River and at the foot of the mountains, on the north side, rises the sea-cow River: this flows after a while into the Orange River, and the latter, subsequent to this union, continues its course for more than a hundred miles, when it falls into the sea on the western coast.
