He gallantly supported Robert Bruce in the great struggle for the independence of Scotland, was thrown into prison by order of Edward I. And did not obtain his release' until after the Battle of Bannock burn. During his captivity he entirely lost his eyesight.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
