This is about 90 million pounds less than was auctioned during the corresponding quarter last year.Holdings of Burley tobacco were million pounds as of this October 1 which represents an increase of 80 million over stocks a year earlier Disappearance of Burley during the October l95l-september 1952 marketing year, as indicated by production estimates and changes in stocks, totaled 537 million pounds compared with 518 million during the previous marketing year.
