Flip couldn't feel more out of place than he did in his ferret family. From the moment he was born, his parents and siblings were constantly poking and prodding him. They took pleasure in telling him how awkward he looked and how his behavior was not acceptable for a ferret. Flip tried many things to get his family to accept him, but even the offering of stinky cheese could not endear them to him. How did Flip know ferrets didn't eat cheese? How did he know that ferrets don't have rodents and rabbits for playmates? When Fignut, the head of the ferret family decided to send Flip away to the Identity Camp, Flip was heartbroken. Flip's misadventures in the camp were as unusual as he was. Sometimes you just have to be yourself and hope that you will be accepted. Despite lessons on how to be a ferret, Flip was not interested. There was only one thing he could do and he hoped his family would finally welcome him, despite their ongoing disappointment. Flip's surprise journey home may or may not be the solution, however, there was only one way to find out.
