After he had been arrested in October and asked to account for the $20 bill which he gave Mamie Crawford, he stat ed that he got this bill on an excursion train to Mooresville.There was evidence that the defendant had three front teeth crowned with gold before he left Charlotte, and that after he was found the crowns had been taken off.For the purpose of showing the rigid busi ness methods of the express company, and for all other purposes for which the question may be competent, the defendant asked the state's witness Marsh, Do you know what bond Plexico was under?
