Communion in the sacrament of the Eucharist is an ongoing ecumenical desire. Today the reception of the ecumenical insights of Joseph Ratzinger and Walter Kasper can be utilised to enhance interdenominational dialogues among Christians of diverse traditions on the theme of the sacrament of the Eucharist both in Africa and in the entire universal Christian community.
