Excerpt from The Protestant Reformation: A Lecture Delivered in St. Ann's Church on Sunday Evening, December 1, 1878But there are - I know it well - earnest and sincere minds, led away by blindness and by prejudice, who hunger and thirst after some real and substantial truth, who would know Christ, whose hearts are moved towards Him as their Redeemer, the begina ning and the end of their faith.
