Gleams the far bay, with isles thick studded o'er, Spreads wide, with its white canvas-dots, the sea. Beyond yon dim gray, wh'ere thrive towns unseen, Faintly traced mountains range, the blue hills here, And here, behind, abruptly all cut off. And in these bounds before us, thickly pent, Are hills and villages with many a Spire, And woods and waters, an enchanting scene.
