The Ninja Daughter was one of the launch titles for Agora, and received major coverage (including starred reviews) in Library Journal, Publisher's Weekly, New York Post, BookRiot and Entertainment Weekly. Commensurate to this, we expect the sequel to receive strong review and publicity attention upon publication. Given the extensive coverage, we expect endorsements from major voices in crime fiction and women's fiction. The theme of a domestic violence, particularly as dealt with through a female protagonist with a variable cultural background deals with societal issues we expect to garner off-the-book-page coverage. Tori Eldridge, in addition to sharing her protagonist's heritage is herself an expert in various martial arts. Eldridge has been a tireless advocate for female empowerment, including hosting a popular podcast, contributing blogs, and writing several acclaimed non-fiction titles on the subject. Eldridge will do both local and regional events, and other appropriate markets, including appearances at popular conventions such as Thrillerfest, Left Coast Crime, Bouchercon, California Crime Writers Conference, and more.
