Trey Valentine has just completed a night of gambling at Diamond Jim's, when he is accosted by a young woman from The Philadelphia House, a local brothel. Despite inner warnings not to get involved with her, Valentine finds himself embroiled in a mysterious situation the next morning, when he awakens with amnesia.
