Excerpt from The Latter-Day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 75: February 13, 1913Successful Socials. - A successful farewell social was given at the Etherington meeting place, Gainsboro' (hull conference), on February 3rd, 1913, when about forty saints and friends met in honor of Elder J. F. Holyoak, who has been released to return to his home. He was presented with a suitable token of esteem by the saints of Gainsboro'. An enjoyable program was rendered. The remainder of the evening was spent in games and social chat. All present joined in wishing Elder Holyoak God-speed on his journey home.On Wednesday, February 5th, 1913, a very successful social was held in the Russell Street building, Darlington (newcastle con ference). The hall was crowded with saints and friends.
