Excerpt from The Episcopal Churchwomen of St. Philip's Parish, Durham, North Carolina: Year Book 1979-1980As we begin a new year in the life of our parish, it is important that we look to our accomplishments as we seek to fill Christ's mission in the future. Last year the Churchwomen not only supported the mission of this parish by their financial contribution, but they also gave of their time and effort to ensure a success ful program in all phases of our ministry. In my years of ministry I have never felt so supported by any group within the Church as the Churchwomen. As we begin a new year of ministry together, let us think of our call to serve Christ and to make Him known in all that we do. Through our fellowship, wor ship, stewardship and service we are able to make Christ alive in this parish. This year promises to be most exciting. The Vestry has adopted several new areas of program realizing that it is because of the Churchwomen we are able to accomplish our goals I look forward to another year together as we begin our parish program.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
