The Emperor Julian is one of the most controversial and fascinating figures in Roman history. Babyla c. Julianum et gentiles XIV-XIX), which includes Libanius's monody on the Temple of Apollo at Daphne (Oration LX), and Ephrem Syrus's Hymns Against Julian, translated from the Latin, Greek, and Syriac respectively.
