At the same time, Matthew Brown, a branch manager with Disability Determination Services is being targeted for assassination. This is a story about how God, through his Holy Spirit, speaks to people. This book depicts the power of prayer and miracles taking place. Matthew Brown, one of the lead fictional characters who is a branch manager with Disability Determination Services, was stricken with polio at the age of five and has no use of his right arm and partial use of his left upper extremity. Mr. Brown slowly becomes aware that people who have been allowed Social Security benefits are being murdered. The author, Dan Zane Smith, is currently a branch manager for Social Security Disability Determination Services and has worked there for the past 16 years. He also worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for 12 years, and an education coordinator and teacher for nine years. He has a bachelor's degree in history from California State University at Northridge and has lived in New Mexico, Southern California, and currently Oregon. He is married and has three children and one grandchild.
