Daniel's dream since he was a small child was to follow Mum's footsteps onto the stage and into films. The Drama and Dance Company chose The Dancing Princess for Daniel's School. When no girl is competent enough to perform the star role, Daniel is persuaded to do so in the hope that his display will enable him to obtain a rare Scholarship to the Drama School.
