Excerpt from The Canadian Horticulturist, 1910, Vol. 33The autumn blooming Heleniums are well known, but those which bloom in early summer are not so well known. One of the finest plants of recent intro duction is Helenium Bolanderi Golden Queen. It grows two feet high and blooms from early in July to near the middle of October. The ¿ower is deep golden yellow with a dark centre. Helenium Hoopesii is another American species blooming in June which is not well known but which is a very desirable perennial.
