Gray, Esq., banker, was delivered to a crowded and in¿uential audience in the Ayr Assembly Rooms, on the evening of Thursday the 18th ult., at the request of the Committee of the ayr public library and reading room. It appeared at length in the Ayr Advertiser of dates the 25th January and lst February, and a general desire having been expressed that it should be issued in a separate form, the author has revised it and made a few additions.Mr gemmell, Frankville, on taking the chair at the meeting when the lecture was delivered, said he begged to congratulate the lecturer on the very crowded attendance.
