This is my story I started to write as I was recovering from the most traumatic event in my life. I suffered severe head trauma from a horseback riding accident. The emotions experienced after the realization of how close I was to death were so overwhelming that I took my pen to paper and wrote. I wanted to share my story - from the day of the accident, my days of my life that I will never remember, the need to reach out, and the journey back to where I am. My only hope is that this book helps to explain what a severe head trauma means to the victim and to the victim's family. In writing this, it has helped me, in reading it, I hope it helps you.
