Tephra Rising is the story of a woman who finds her inner strength, and in the process, inspires those around her to do the same. She was looking for a purposeful life, and thought she found the perfect fit. But her new home in the Colony (housed at the bottom of the ocean) quickly turns into a nightmare that forces Tephra to either die or stand up and fight for what she believes in. Along the way she assembles a mismatched team of colonists who have lost faith in their beliefs until Tephra reignites their passions. Choices must be made: either side with Tephra to restore the Colony to its former glory, or take the easy way out with Cosmotine who may well destroy the only home they've ever known.
