Tarsus or Jerusalem deals with the youth of Saint Paul. It has generally been held that the Apostle of the Gentiles grew up in Tarsus, and that this pagan city had a tremendous influence upon his thinking. Professor van Unnik, however, demonstrates that the only text which gives definite information about Paul's early youth points in an altogether different direction, namely, to Jerusalem.
