Century.The request of Mary C. Pumphrey was most willingly com plied with - that as so many of the children of Superintendents and Masters had only been Day Scholars, and that the names of such had not been entered on the official List till the year 1889, all who could be found prior to that date should be included in this List. After much correspondence with parents and scholars, and the ever-ready help of Thomas Wright, the custodian of the ancient records at Ackworth, it is a pleasure to preface the List with an addition of twenty-four names to the roll of Ackworth Scholars.The List of the Teachers.
