Excerpt from Studies on the Cestode Family Anoplocephalidæ: With Six PlatesTwo specimens of this cestode, one without scolex, were taken from a red squirrel (sciurus hudsonica) at Bemidji, Minnesota, in Septem ber, 1911. Since about 20 squirrels in all were examined, there and at Brainerd, Minnesota, it seems that this species is rare, at least as far as this region and host are concerned. Other species of squirrels from these and other localities were likewise uninfected with this species.
