Small Steps to Speed Reading

Let's take a look at the last 24 hours. What did I do that was really important in the past day? What challenges did we face and how did we respond? What new things did we learn and how well did we explore the world we live in? How many neural connections did we make and how can they help us in our personal evolution? Have we done something to be proud of? Are we worthy of the admiration of others for what we have done, or have we just spent another 24 hours on this earth without improving our way of living and thinking in any way? Let's think deeply and draw some conclusions that may be extremely unpleasant for us, but if we are truly honest, we will realize that we haven't taken many steps towards evolution, that all we have been trying to do is to consume what we have built so far. But if you consume without giving anything back, one day you will see how all your work becomes the property of others.
Let's take this way of thinking as a repertoire in which to put more individual files of work into personal development and understand that only by self-educating do we have a chance to protect ourselves from an uncertain or, worse, unfavourable future. Let's take again the example of the animal world: a gazelle which, when feeding, is alert, while drinking water, listens to the slightest noise and stops at the slightest suspicion, ready to choose the maximum speed of which it is capable in order to survive. Why should our case be any different, why shouldn't others try to speculate on our moments of weakness or incompetence and dismiss us? And if we agree with this view, what do we want to do to avoid truly disastrous situations from which we cannot escape? I know it's hard to take a personal development course, hard to believe that it can really help us, but these techniques are only for an already convinced elite who expect to learn more and more information as quickly as possible. This book is invaluable if it gets into the hands of a person eager for personal development and worthless if it gets into the hands of an ignoramus or a person interested in other aspects of life altogether. We decide which category we want to be in, it is a long and often extremely difficult road, but if we engage in this process, we can only win, because we will become stronger and stronger inside and able to respond in the best way to external challenges.
