While telling life stories, particularly about my involvement in three wars, and reading to my beautiful Grandchildren, one of them asked, "Grandpa, would you tell us about when you were a little boy in Switzerland, before you came to America?" Robili was written to do just that, to tell stories of what happened to me as far back as I could remember until I arrived at the front door of my family's first home in America.
