Excerpt from Road Materials in the Vicinity of Regina, SaskatchewanAn examination of Table VI together with Figure 2 shows that in the large gravel sheets like those at Pilot Butte, Lumsden, and elsewhere, the gravel and sand aggregates contain a small percentage of gravel over inch, combined with coarse sand. Lying on top of these and easily distinguished from them are small quantities of much finer silts and clays.
