Richard of Cirencester (c.1335-1400) was a Benedictine monk at Westminster whose Latin history narrates the story of England from the legendary accession of Vortigern in 447 up to Harold II in 1066. This two-volume work, edited by John E. B. Mayor (1825-1910), was published between 1863 and 1869.
