Excerpt from Report of the Directors of the Boston and Worcester Rail-Road, to the Stockholders, at Their Thirteenth Annual Meeting: June 3, 1844The Directors announced in their last Annual Report the completion of the second track of the road, and of the buildings and improvements which were deemed necessary, for carrying on to advantage not only the 10 cal business of the road, but that which is done in con cert with the two other Corporations, whose roads are connected with it. They have therefore no important change to report in the condition of the work.
