Just a few specimens have been taken by deep sea expeditions from time to time, or by chance trawling operations, here and there. In these circumstances, little is to be gained by reviewing them, until additional and adequate material is collected. It is proposed here, merely to list the species occurring in Australian waters and to pass on to a more detailed review of the extremely common intertidal species.
