Excerpt from Proceedings of the American Association of Museums: Records of the Sixth Annual Meeting Held at Boston, Mass, , May 23-25, 1911 The Association assembled at the rooms of the Boston Society of Natural History at 9 a. m. for registration and inspection of the Museum. At 10.30 a.m. the opening session was called to order at the Museum of Fine Arts, President Frederick J. V. Skiff presiding. The Chair introduced Dr. Arthur Fairbanks, director of the Museum of Fine Arts, who extended a cordial welcome and described the general plan of the new building of the Museum. After a brief response by Dr. Skiff the roll was called by Secretary Paul M. Rea and the following is a list of the members present, with the institutions represented by them.
