Paul Phifer worked in a variety of career development positions for nearly 44 years which included serving as director of several career service offices as well as a professor and career counselor. He has been employed in both high school and college settings, served as a Children's Church and Men's Ministry Coordinator, Deacon, Elder and "Big Brother." Phifer also co-sponsored the Christian Fellowship at Grand Rapids Community college for over 25 years and served for many years as a Christian Career Counselor for members of Calvary Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While being the author of several career development books, this is his first based primarily on a Christian perspective. PAUL PHIFER has a master's degree in Guidance & Counseling from Western Michigan University and is a Master Career Counselor. He is the author of Career Planning Questions & Answers, Quick Prep Careers: Good Jobs in 1 year or less and College Majors & Careers: A Resource Guide for Effective Career Planning (Sixth Edition). Paul and his wife, Margaret, are the parents of four adult children.
