Toby Martinez de las Rivas (Author) Toby Martinez de las Rivas was born in 1978. He grew up in Somerset before moving to the North East to study and work as an archaeologist. His collections are Terror (2014) and Black Sun (2018). His pamphlets include returnsongs (2012), freak red (2015) and cante jondo mixtape (2017). He received an Eric Gregory Award in 2015.
