Over the Spillway ~ Life Journey of an Engineer
BücherAngebote / Angebote:
On September 7, 1914, Isaac Stanley Walker made his first entry in this diary to record his thoughts, observations and day-to-day activities in both his personal and professional life. His minuscule printing on the 6 3/4" x 3 3/4" pages is almost impossible to read with the naked eye. Now transcribed, Isaac's diary provides a fascinating portrait of his work as a civil engineer and family man through the times of World War One, the Great Depression, and President Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal. The last entry was made just two weeks before his death at the age of 54 on January 23, 1938.
