Excerpt from Ordinances and Resolutions of the Corporation of the City of Baltimore: Passed at the Annual Session of 1818 Be it enacted and ordained by the Mayor and New limits 01 City Council of Baltimore, That from and after the passage of this ordinance, the limits of Hanover Market shall include all that part of Camden street adjoining the Market house, as far as the southern kerb of said street, and all that part of Hanover street, south of Pratt street, and north of Peace alley, as far as the eastern kerb of said street, in addition to the space heretofore allotted thereto by law.
