The towns, too, have, as a rule, been placed according to the order of their establishment rather than alphabetically, thus maintaining the chronological plan.The present population of the county is very largely composed of the descendants of pioneers and early settlers, hence it has been deemed advisable to insert as many of the names of such ancestors as could be obtained.
