This collection of poems morphed from the event of Hurricane Frances lurking off our shores in Florida in September 2004, and evolved into a compilation of happenings in and around my family of eight siblings and our offspring. It touches on the Iraq war, the terrorists, and Hurricane Katrina. Although I had never written a poem before Frances, except in my aroses are reda era, I now seem unable to stop! In this book, I have shared my philosophies, my optimism, and at times, my faith. Most of the poems tell a short story in simple rhyme that often end with an uplifting message.
