Four sets of answers are transcribed verbatim as specimens, and the rest have been condensed so as to summarise all important or interesting details. Wherever a date for the answers is supplied, it is given immediately after the name Of the parish, and the name Of the incumbent, or other attesting person, is printed at the end Of each excerpt.
