The increase in quantity was short tons, or 17 per cent, and In value or 21 per cent, over 1914, the year Of largest production and value prior to 1915. Imports of fuller's earth decreased in 1915 compared with 1914 22 or cent in both quantity and value. Almost from the inception of t e industry in this country the domes tic production and value and the average price per ton have exceeded those Of im orts.
