Excerpt from Manual for the Use of the Legislature of the State of New York, 1908: Prepared Pursuant to the Provisions of Chapter 683, Laws of 189225. Legiglative [manual - The Secretary of State, at the expense of the State, shall annually prepare and publish the Legislative Manual, and a map of the State, exhibiting the route of all railroads and canals that are completed or in course of construction. The manual shall contain the Constitutions of the United States and of the State of New York, diagrams of the Senate and Assembly chambers, and such other information of the nature here tofore published therein, as he may consider useful, 5 and shall be printed and bound in substantially the same style as heretofore.
