Cari Chesterfield and her party attend a housewarming in picturesque Laureltown. Their hosts welcome their arrival and are grateful for their assistance in restoring their house, LaurelsHeath, to its former glory. However, prominent local landowner, Cyrus Sykes, and his flunkies seem to resent them and consider their visit an intrusion.
