When Madison Brown inherited his decaying family farm, he was still a young man -- but felt very old. Plagued with constant attacks from nature: insects, weather, blight, along with poor market price risks, he wanted to quit. He did love to work in the fields, and watch the healthy new crops of corn and wheat! Yet, when he returned home exhausted each night he felt no joy in his work or life.
