Powell is a career educator whose experiences run the gamut from Classroom Teacher to Principal and College Professor. She has a number of works in progress that are as varied as her experiences: books on marriage, phonics manuals, puzzle books, myths, biblical treatises, and two fictional pieces. Nancy Liles is an aide at a Quaker school in Philadelphia and the mother of a college age son. She does murals and commissioned works in several media.
