As I had always been praised for writing a good letter I decided to take that tack in my autobiography. As though writing a letter to a friend, i.e. the reader. I had to collate all the relevant details and finally putting pen to paper in longhand I commenced. I had never learnt to type, no time for that, and I never had ambition for office work. I will not mention computers - I'm a dodo where those are concerned. Too old a dog for new tricks! Whilst recollecting the past can be exhilarating it has trauma attached in equal proportion especially reliving odd moments - some exceedingly odd!!! The one truism I have realised is that authenticity is essential and in that I cannot be faulted. Throughout my book you will find more famous names than you could shake a stick at. However no sex or dirt which will make my book unique by today's standards - however - some astonishing revelations! I hope you will find it an interesting and enjoyable read.
