When a death is reported on the news we forget how it affects family and friends. In my book LIGHTNING CHANGE you'll follow my family from the depths of sorrow to times of laughter. My story is based on an event that changed my life. On July 18, 1971 a lightning bolt near the town of Red River, New Mexico clamed the life of four people. My brother, Glenn Cowsar and his wife Helen were two of the four killed. The lightning also injured two, one being Anita, my ten year old niece. With my permission, Glenn and Helen's wills had named me guardian for their two daughters. That day my family of four became a family of six. I hope you enjoy my story.
