Harry Morgan lives with his son Sam and daughter-in-law Patricia in his $2.85 million home. Harry is a billionaire and owns all but two shares of Morgan Enterprises Inc. Harry is retired and has no real interest so on a daily basis he interferes and comments on everything that goes on in the household which is driving his daughter-in-law mad. Harry's son Sam is having a very difficult time tolerating his father. Sam's wife has a real hate for Harry and if it were possible to put him in an early grave legally, she would have already done it a long time ago. In order to get Harry out of the house and into an early grave the son and daughter conspire to send Harry on a treasure hunt in the Philippines for gold supposedly buried by General Tomoyuki Yamashita on Pobo Island. With a lot of lies, falsified documents and a few bribes Sam and Patricia persuade Harry to go to Pobo Island hoping that Harry will soon be overcome by heat protestation from digging, malaria, heart attack or starvation. Their plan puts Harry on the isolated island with no air or sea transportation and no food or drinkable water. Luckily for Harry he has a few lies of his own.
