My method of lecturing being entirely extempore, the lectures comprising the first half of the volume, under the heads of Principles of Medicine and Acute General Diseases, were origi nally reported by Leander Stone, stenographer, and those comprising the rest of the volume, by James E. Henderson, M. D.
