Henry William Greville was the youngest son of Charles and Lady Charlotte Greville, and was born October 28, 1801, his only sister (my mother) being two years his junior. He was educated at Westminster and Oxford, but much of his childhood was spent on the Continent, chiefly at Brussels, where his family was residing at the time of the battle of Waterloo.
